
Lisa Harris
Lisa is originally from West Bromwich. She moved to the Forest of Dean in her early 20s, when she married a local lad from Cinderford. They have 3 sons together.
She describes herself as being more of a creative person than academic. A qualified florist, she loves learning and new challenges. She went on to become a qualified make-up artist, expanding to level 2 barbering, ladies hairdressing and head massage.
As a professional skin camouflage practitioner, she teaches people how to make vitiligo, scars, birthmarks and other skin conditions less noticeable. Part of the job is to listen to people, their anxieties and struggles. She is understanding and compassionate.
Lisa has lived with anxiety and depression since her mid-teens. She has also been diagnosed with PTSD. Her experiences growing up and living with mental health issues herself, has given her a very strong desire to help others with mental health and wellbeing. She has completed a Level 2 Certificate in Self-harm and Suicide Awareness and prevention.
Her hobbies include: the gym, sewing, reading and baking. She loves anything creative.
